Visual artist Sabine Zwikker was commissioned by the municipality of Alphen aan de Rijn to create a work for the new 'The Connection' bicycle tunnel to be built beneath the train station of Alphen aan de Rijn. She asked Koninklijke Tichelaar to transfer the images that refer to experiencing the landscape in a black and white train on tiles with the same tile in four colors of green around it. It was not easy to convey exactly the desired effect of the spherical images on the tiles, but the project was very well received by the artist and her client.
