SKINZ

The SKINZ façade system consists of ceramic tiles in three different sizes and is available in two unglazed and five glazed versions. Therefore a broad variety of combinations is possible. The mounting system is certified and complies with all building regulations. Like every other product from Koninklijke Tichelaar, SKINZ is a real piece of craftsmanship. This gives the massive ceramic tiles a robust look and feel. The used clay and deviations in its dimensions result in small imperfections, which makes each individual tile a unique one. The tiles are available in two unglazed versions in red and black (smothered) and in five glazed versions: the colors of Makkum. The colors and look vary depending on incidence of light, the viewing angle, and the distance between you and the tile. Because of the unique mounting system, the tiles can easily by reapplied on a different building. The high-quality glazes cause the tiles to persist for multiple generations. There is a large reduction in weight when compared to traditional façades, causing a more favorable gross/net volume of the building. The SKINZ façade system has multiple applications. A well thought-out and material-saving aluminum mounting system has been developed for each variant, making the SKINZ façade system easy to install. The mounting system is not visible.
