DPG Media will enter its new headquarters in Amsterdam in 2024. The building is rightfully a sustainability icon in Overamstel. It is largely made of wood, significantly reducing the CO2 footprint. Mediavaert, the name of the building, offers workspaces, studios, and meeting rooms for well-known Dutch media companies.
We were commissioned by Team V Architecture to develop and apply a special glaze to a beautiful, profiled façade panel. The same glaze has also been used indoors on the railings of ceramic elements. The turquoise-tinted panels with various relief patterns give the building a distinctive character. The whole adds a new post-industrial dynamism to the raw context of the area.
