Visit Japanese Delegation

On August 31 we welcomed a delegation from the Japanese city Kurobe in Makkum. The delegation, led by the mayor of Kurobe Mr. Takekuma, visited Friesland on invitation by the Commissioner of the King Mr. Brok and the Mayor of Gemeente Súdwest-Fryslân Ms. De Vries. We were honored to show the unique expertise, production processes, and craftsmanship of Koninklijke Tichelaar. After visiting our factory, we went to the Open Atelier Makkum to show the innovative research projects. All in all, it was an inspirational and constructive visit.
